A Marriage Route to Dubai Immigration
A Dubai Marriage Visa gives our client the right to live and work in the UAE for 2-3 years provided that they are the spouse of a citizen or resident of the UAE. The permit is renewable so long as the sponsor is still employed or self-employed in the UAE. With Brighter’s team of employment experts behind you, finding a job in Dubai has never been easier. We have hundreds of contacts throughout the country who are looking for skilled migrants to live and work in the UAE, so take our free assessment to find out if you are eligible.
These visas typically take a few weeks to process and incur fees in the region of 1500 AED. However, it’s important to note that neither the times nor costs of processing are determined by Brighter Visas. These prices and fees are set by the Dubai immigration authorities and, as such, are subject to change.
Sponsorship and Eligibility
To be eligible for this visa, you must have a sponsor in the UAE who is over the age of 18 and is either employed by a firm in the UAE or otherwise self-employed. They must be able to demonstrate that they have enough funds available in order to support their spouse financially for the duration of the visa. Additionally, they must show that they have the requisite space available for the applicant to live. This means having a rented apartment or home where the applicant can live for the duration of their stay.
Unlike other visas for the UAE, the Marriage Visa does not require you to provide maintenance, meaning that the applicant will not have to demonstrate the ability to financially support themselves, as this is the responsibility of the sponsor. Likewise you are not required to have an offer of work from the country before entering in order to be eligible.
Lasting Love in the UAE
Life without the one we love can be extremely trying. Millions of couples remain separated because of border and visa issues, which is why they come to us for our expert advice. We love it when we can help a couple move to a new country together and here’s just one such example:
“My husband and I met whilst we were both studying in the UK and it was love at first sight. We spent three brilliant years together at university before deciding to get married. I thought that I was so lucky to have found the right man and to have graduated with such great marks- I couldn’t have been happier. We lived for a few years in the UK before I had to return to Dubai but we thankfully contacted Brighter Visas before my time in the UK was up. They reassured us that we would have a great chance of obtaining a Marriage Visa for Dubai and they were proved right. Thanks to their expertise and experience, we were granted a Marriage Visa so that my husband could join me in Dubai. Life is so good now, as we’re both happy and working, and I owe a lot of thanks to Brighter Visas who made it happen.”
